Knitting needles and crochet hooks conversion chart
Usually yarn labels indicate the recommended needle size for each type of fiber. This size refers to the thickness or diameter of the needle or hook, not its length. Needles can come in different lengths, and even circular needles can have different cable lengths which can help us knit a variety of projects. There are also different types of sizing system used to classify the needles by their thickness. In Europe, the size is given in millimeters. In the United States, the size is a number between 0 and 50. Then in the United Kingdom and Canada, size is a number between 18 and 000.
