First, try airing the garment instead of washing it. If washing is necessary, follow these guidelines:
- Machine wash superwash-treated wool separately using a wool/gentle cycle at 30ºC with light centrifugation (about 800rpm) and wool detergent without enzymes or optical brighteners.
- Avoid fabric softener with superwash-treated yarn
- Never leave the garment soaking or wet in the washing machine for an extended period.
- To dry, shape the garment and lay it flat, preferably on a warm bathroom floor or a drying rack in a well-ventilated room.
- Avoid hanging and direct sunlight.
- Do not tumble dry. Never iron the garment directly; always use a damp cloth between the iron and the garment.
Note: For projects made with multiple yarn types, follow the washing instructions for the most delicate yarn used.
