Firstly, consider airing the garment instead of washing it. If washing is necessary, follow these steps:
- To help set the color and prevent any bleeding, we recommend washing your Catania garment at 60°C for the first wash only. After that, you can follow the standard care instructions and wash at 40°C.
- Do not leave the garment damp or soaking in the washing machine for extended periods.
- To dry, gently reshape and lay it flat — avoid hanging. A warm bathroom floor or a drying rack in a well-ventilated room is ideal. Keep out of direct sunlight.Tumble drying is not recommended.
- Any irregularities in the fabric will usually settle after washing or with light steam ironing.
- Never apply an iron directly to the garment. Always use a damp cloth as a barrier between the iron and the fabric.
Note: For projects made with multiple yarn types, follow the washing instructions for the most delicate yarn used.
